The graveside service for Mary Thomas will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Scenic Hills Memorial Park, Ashland. Pastor Don Baldrica of Ashland First Baptist Church will officiate.

Mrs. Thomas, 85, of Medford, died Monday (July 1, 2002) at Farmington Square in Medford.

Memorial contributions may be made to SEMBEQ at the Mission to the Americas, 2715 Welton St., Denver, CO 80205.

She was born Dec. 7, 1916, in Montreal, Canada, to Agnes and Frederick Moon. She was raised in Montreal. In 1947, she married William C. Thomas, who died in 2001. They lived in Philadelphia for one year before moving to Los Angeles in 1948. They lived in Denver for five years and moved to Talent in 1983.

Mrs. Thomas moved to Medford in 2001.

Survivors include a son, William C. II, Medford; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
