The graveside service for Roy Thomas Lannom will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Eagle Point National Cemetery Interment Shelter. The memorial service will follow at 1 p.m. at Ascension Lutheran Church in Medford. Pastors Robert Larson and David Rapp will officiate.
Mr. Lannom, 85, of Medford, died Tuesday (July 2, 2002) at his home.

He was born Aug. 30, 1916, in Texhoma, Okla., to Thomas and Belle Lannom. On Sept. 7, 1941, in Bentonville, Ark., he married Laurene Butts, who survives. They moved to the Rogue Valley in 1971 from Temple City, Calif.
Mr. Lannom worked in the real estate business from 1973 until his retirement in 1983. He also worked as a branch manager-divisional in wholesale of dairy products at Knudsen Dairy in San Diego.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Mr. Lannom was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church and was a past member of Kiwanis.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include three daughters, Cheryl Orr, Donna Dixon and Diane Lannom, all Medford; a son, Michael A., North Hollywood, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mable Butler; and a granddaughter.
