Sally Jane Harkness, 66, died Friday (June 28, 2002) at her daughter’s home in White City. A memorial service is planned for noon Tuesday at the Medford Moose Lodge. A private inurnment will be held later in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 380 S.E. She was born June 24, 1936, in Whittier, Calif., to Raiff and Margaret Martin. She had lived in the Rogue Valley for 48 years.
She was secretary to the administrator of the Medford Moose Lodge No. 178 and was a 45-year member of the Women of the Moose.
She loved gardening and doing on-line auctions.
Survivors include a son, Darin Drake, Sacramento, Calif.; two daughters, Sheri Larkin, White City, and Serena Jackson, Medford; a brother, Bernard L. Martin, Ellensburg, Wash.; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Darlene Willis.
