Donald Johnson, 79, of Eagle Point, died Sunday (July 7, 2002) in Eagle Point. No service is planned.

He was born Jan. 14, 1923, in Holton, Kan., to Lowell and Mildred Johnson.

Mr. Johnson was a master carpenter and cabinet maker. He moved to the Rogue Valley one year ago.

He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II.

Survivors include a son, David, Twin Falls, Idaho; and a daughter, Debbie Morgan, Lake Stevens, Wash. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth.
