A funeral Mass will be at 1 p.m. Friday, July 5, 2002, in St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Tigard for M. Isabel Rodrigues, who died July 1 at age 78.

M. Isabel Rivera was born Dec. 6, 1923, in Hilo, Hawaii. A homemaker, she lived in California before moving in 1992 to Tualatin. In 1941, she married Thomas.

Survivors include her husband; sons, Thomas Jr. and Phillip; daughters, Barbara Mayernik and Gwendolyn Ferro; 15 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. Her daughter Shirley Ann Pena died earlier.
