A funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday, July 5, 2002, in Bateman-Carroll Funeral Home for Kenneth L. Kopplin, who died July 2 at age 80.

Mr. Kopplin was born March 14, 1922, in Forestburg, S.D. During World War II, he served in the Army in Italy. He moved in 1965 to Portland and to Gresham in 1981, and was a painter out of Local 10. In 1951, he married Phyllis Brobst.

Survivors include his wife; daughter, Susane Richardson; stepdaughter, Eunice Landon; stepson, Gary Boldt; sisters, Evelyn Dooley and Margaret Patrick; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
