A few years ago I met who I believe to be a third cousin from Oregon who indicated his mother and aunt still resided in the area. Apparently the aunt has information regarding the JENNINGS/EDWARDS family. I have since found another cousin in Scotland, who has extensively researched the EDWARDS family.

Sarah EDWARDS of Marbury, Cheshire m. Edwin JENNINGS of Whitchurch, Shropshire and had four children: William Alfred, Sarah Ann (Sally), Gertrude Emma, and Mary Jane (Pollie).

(My ggm was Gertrude Emma, who m. Stephen Griffiths.)

William Alfred JENNINGS m. Amelia of Bournemouth, Hampshire. They had three children: Florence, May, and Alfred JENNINGS. The 1901 census places them in Welshpool, Montgomeryshire.

John Jennings lived in the Portland area, was married three times, and has six children. He is an artist and a musician.
