A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 6, 2002, in Royal Marc Retirement Residence in Milwaukie for David M. Darnell, who died June 24 at age 64.

Mr. Darnell was born July 10, 1937, in Pueblo, Colo. He served in the Air Force for 20 years, and later was a security guard at Legacy Good Samaritan Hospital and Medical Center after moving to Portland about 1976.

Survivors include his aunts, Bertha Smith and Alta L. Stirton; and four cousins.
