The memorial service for David Bruce will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Chapel of the Valley Funeral Home, Grants Pass. Private interment will be at Eagle Point National Cemetery.
Mr. Bruce, 27, of Boerne, Texas (formerly of Grants Pass), died Oct. 5, 2002, in Boerne.
He was born Dec. 25, 1974, in Carson City, Nev. He attended Grants Pass High School from 1991 to 1993.
Mr. Bruce served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1997 until January 2002.
Survivors include his wife, Sara, of Boerne, Texas; and his mother, Anita Ryan, a sister, Kelly Myers, a brother, Kevin DeWeese, and his grandmother, Floydean Schroeder, all of Grants Pass. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert.
