Marjorie Elma Hurtt, 91, of Ashland, died Sunday (Oct. 13, 2002) at Skylark Assisted Living, Ashland. No service is planned. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, San Diego.
She was born Jan. 17, 1911, in Kansas City, Mo., a daughter of Elmer and Mae (Evans) Widener. In 1935, in Huntington Beach, Calif., she married Bruce Hurtt, who died in 1979. She moved to the Rogue Valley in 1979 from California.
Mrs. Hurtt was a homemaker. She was a member of Medford First Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Gary, of Santa Anna, Calif.; a daughter, Joan Seate, Medford; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
