A funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 8, 2002, in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Milwaukie for Mary Irene Carli, who died July 2 at age 78. Recitation of the rosary will precede the Mass at 10 a.m.
Mary Irene Hochstatter was born Jan. 10, 1924, in Seneca, Kan., and moved to Oregon City in 1940. She graduated from Oregon City High School in 1942. She was a homemaker and worked on the family produce farm in Clackamas. She also was a Clackamas city councilwoman. In 1945, she married Silvio L.
Survivors include her husband; daughters, Carolyn Hoffman and Marilyn Bocci; sons, James and Joseph; brother, Tom Hochstatter; and five grandchildren.
