my ggrandpa William R Edwards worked for marshal R.B.Ramsey in late 1800's.found history on Ramsey but nothing on William.my father thinks he was told we were some relation also.we have pics of William with his badge and stories my grf Edward told my father about ggrf William being a deputy.William's father Thomas R Edwards was said to work with them also.my father is dying and wants to know who and what his edwards men were about as they were men of few words and we know very little on thomas or beyond.thank you so much.
