Frances "Fannie" Whitsett Rutherford b. abt 1837 INDIANA, wrote a letter to her sister Luranie Lenord 24 Aug 1889 from Caddo, Indian Territory in which she names family members, but not her husband's name. Rufe, "Mr. Rutherford's baby when we married", sons James Wiley, Bernie, Samuel Newton, and Jacob Huston who d. at 3 months.Ben has a herd of cattle, a herd of horses and plenty of hogs. She says she lives close to Abe and Jane. Jane has 7 children. Martha has 2. Is there anything in your resources about these people?
