I am the great grandson of Zachariah F.Carder who homesteaded 2 miles north and 2 miles west of Wakita, made the Cherokee Strip Run, and built a sod house on his property. I am looking for any and all information about Zachariah F. Carder, sometimes known as Z.F. Carder. His daughter, Verna, married L.P. Scott, another Wakita pioneer.
