I am looking to confirm a death of our ggg grandmother , Rebecca Jane Ashford Cross Taylor. She was married to a James Cross in Tx where he was scalped around 1858-1860. Rebecca was found on the Erath co. 1860 census. She remarried a Choctow Indian named William Jackson Taylor in the 1860's. He disappeared in 1876 in Nashoba Co. Indian Territory. Rebecca died April 26, 1887 and the last area she was in was Twelve Mile Prairie, I'm told is in Bryan Co. Ok. Can you give me any info. I would be grateful...
