I am looking for information about a Lyman Babcock. He original came from Hopewell Twp., Ontario County, New York. Date of Birth was about 1817 or 1818. He died in 1840. I am interested in any spouses or children. Since he died prior to May 1840 the census is really no help, as far as family members. It is belived but not varified that he had a son Joseph. It is believed he lived in Greenfield Twp., Huron County, Ohio.
