Looking for information on great-grandparents Thomas O'Brien b.
1832 Cork(?), Ireland, married in Monroeville or Sandusky Ohio in 1857 or 1858 to Alice (Butler?)b.1837 d. 1867. Son James born in 1858.
In Monroeville was a different Thomas O'Brien (about the same age or a little older than my Thomas) My great-grandparents lived in Sandusky but Alice went home to "Grandma O'Brien" in Monroeville to have all of her children. This "Grandma O'Brien" had been a wido with grown children when she married the second Thomas O'Brien, 20 yrs her junior. Her grown sons were named Butler. So we think Alice may have been a Butler. Would love to make the connection. Their son James married Mary C. Tuohy, my grandparents. Hope that makes sense. Anyway would love to find out more about My Thomas O'Brien and Alice and "Grandma (Butler)O'Brien" who was born in Dec 1799.
