Just thought I'd pass this on in case someone comes across either the originals or a transcription. I went to the Searing-Roslyn United Methodist Church to see if there were earlier records of my family than the ones at the Port Washington United Methodist Church only to find out that someone had borrowed them about 40 years ago to transcribe them and they were never returned. No one seems to remember who borrowed them or exactly when but current church records only date back to 1952. Hopefully they haven't been inadvertently thrown away and are sitting in someone's attic or in an archive somewhere waiting to be rediscovered.
