My grandmother's maiden name was Jones--Susan Jones. Her parents were Robert and Ardella (or Idella) (Anthony) Jones. Robert's parents were William and Jane
(Bennett) Jones.

In the 1880 census, eight years after their marriage, Robert and “Idelia”, are found living with Jane Jones, 58, born in Ireland, who is the head of the household
(Husband William must be deceased by then). Robert is 30, Idelia/Ardella is 26. They have 4 children: William E. Jones, 8; Robert H. Jones, 6; James A. Jones, 4; and
John B. (Bennett) Jones, 2 mo. Jane must have been born in 1822.
In the 1893 census we find the Jones family in Albany's 12th ward. The head of the household is now Robert, 42. He is a machinist, working for father-in-law Henry
Anthony. Ardella (Idella) is 37. Jane Jones, Robert’s mother, is 73. William E. is 19 and also a machinist.; Robert H. is 17 and works as a clerk; James is 15; John B.
(Bennett) is 12; Jennie is 11; Susan (my grandmother) is 6; and Charles (Uncle Charlie) is 2.
In my grandmother's obit (1956) J. Bennett Jones is said th be living in Akron Ohio.
