I am researching my Gareau family found first in Quebec and Ontario and later migrate around the mid 1860s to Ogdensburg, NY. Names they went by there were GARROW AND GORROW. Name took another turn when my gr grandfather chose to use the GROW surname.
Would be glad to hear from anyone who has ties to that area that may have information on the Gareaus.
