Father:    Christian SCHERM 1884-1969
       Christian was a sheet metal worker retired from Republic Aircraft. He was living with his daughter, Ellen Langhans at 71-67 68Place, Glendale when he died in 1969.
Mother:    Susan GRIEBEL b. 1891
Children: 1. Robert Charles SCHERM b. abt. 1908 worked as a roofer, owned his own business
2. Christian SCHERM b. Abt. 1908
3. Eleanor (Ellen) Pearl SCHERM LANGHANS 1914-1997. Her name on her social security application is Ellen, but on the Census it is Eleanor. She married Langhans before 1946.

In 1920, Susan, Christian and children lived at 2582 Cooper Ave., Queens.

Mother: Moneka b.1857
Children: 1. Susan Griebel b. 1890

           3. Charles b. 1885
           4. Anna b. 1887
           5. Burkard b. 1898 d. 1975

In 1900, Burkard, Moneka, and children lived at 236 Grove Street.
