I have been searching for parents families. My father Jose Nazario Montoya was born 08-23-09 in Cherryvale, New Mexico (which no longer exists) to Milton and Maria (?Archuleta) Montoya. He had a sister named Quiteria Montoya who was married to Manuel Gallegos, they lived in Solano,N.Mex., they had a daughter named Fruitosa, one named Mary(?) and a son named Milton. Brothers: Leopoldo Montoya (I have the pleasure of knowing his son Jose over the internet), Leopoldo was divorced and his wife and children moved to Colo.Spgs, Co., Seferino (Sofronia) who lived in Manzanola,Co.-children Gilbert,Steve,Carmel, Fidela,Dora,Frances, Max,Milton
My mother was Mary Carmen Maestas born 04-10-20 in Golondrinas, Mora Co. N.Mex. to Facundo and Fannie Maestas. Facundo had sister named Petra Sena, brothers Ramon,Manuel,Eusebio(?)
I believe my greatgrandfathers name was Jesus Maestas. I know they lived or were from Rainsville or Tiptonville and for some reason Union County stands out. Fannie was daughter of John Baptist Andrea? Warder. She had a brother named Charles (Eloisa Duran or Weathers)Warder and lived in Pasadena, Calif. and sister named Inez (Emileo) Weathers that lived in Pueblo,Co.
