I am at a brickwall w/ Joseph PETTY, b. 1764. He may have been w/ a family which migrated from your area to the WARREN/SUSSEX CO area. I need his parentage and cannot link w/ any other PETTY line. Joseph, John, Jacob, Josiah, and Aaron were names used in the line as they were also in the MIDDAGH and VANATTA lines. These three families intermarried and used the same names so it is impossible to keep them untangled. They also mingled frequently with ANGLE, PARGIN, PEPPLE,STOLTZ, and WAGGONER/WAGNER families.
