Just found your post. I also am from Rulon Borton. I come from his third wife Esther. William comes from the first wife. No children from second wife. Third wife had two children.
Victor and Bessie. I come from Victor who had a child out of wed-lock. He had no other children.
Bessie married Anthony Sanson and they had two sons.

Rulon is buried in MI with at least two wives. I don't know what ever took Rulon to NE. But I know he is found back in OH with his son Wm. in the census.

Did Wm.'s mother die in NE?
