50th Anniversary Carson, North Dakota 1910-1960 book has that he was bron 7/3/1863 in Pelvesta, Pelvestal? (the last letter was not clear) South Russia. Emigration was 1903. Died 6/9/1939. I can't find a Pelvesta, Russia for birh records. He doesn't show up on census records or land records, or passenger lists. Any help would be appreciated.
