WB 1, p. 311 NCarolina Surry County Be it remembered that I Edward Moore of the county and State affore said do make constitute and ordain this my last will and testament revoking all others in manner and form following that is to say first after my Decease that all my just debts be paid. Secondly I do guive and bequeath unto my beloved wife Martha all my estate rail and personal or the use of the same as long as she lives provided she is the longest liver. Thirdly at her death I do give and bequeath unto my son Edward Moore all the lands that I am in pocession of. Fourthly I do give and bequeath unto my grandsons Abraham Creed and Franklin hanks forty Dollars each also unto Bennet Creeds Children ten Dollars each. Fifthly unto my two Daughters Gency Hanks and Nancy Crysman one negro girl and Bed and firnature apeice a girl by the name of Lish to Gincy and her heirs forever also Diner to Nancy and her heirs forever after which all the rest of my estate personal to be equally Divided Between my four sons William, George, James and Edward, Except forty Dollars more to William than the others.
Further I do appoint my Son Edward and Silas Jones Jr. for my executors Given under my hand and seal this 2nd of November in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and twenty six.
