Looking for parents of Alexander Erwin born about 1820 to 1825 in Statesville, N.C. Area. He married Adeline Berry, daughter of Archibald Berry. Was in Burke Co. N.C. by 1850 Census also the 1860 census next door to Hugh Erwin.
I had wondered if his father was a Joseph Erwin as he named his eldest son Joseph. Please Help this has been a real brick wall. J. Straney
