I am searching for any info on my grandfather, Richard Percy Burgess. My mother was born in Helena, Montana on June 5, 1925. Her mother married Percy in Spokane, Washington on March 19, 1923. They did not stay married long. Percy moved to California, my grandmother moved to Virginia, both remarried. My mother lived with her father in California until she was 16. I have letters written by Charlotte deBorde Burgess and Blanche Burgess. A clipping about the death of Belle Burgess Carter on November 25, 1925. She lived on a ranch in Wolf Creek.
