My G.Grandmother was named Sallie Dixon,I always thought Dixon Maiden name. Now I have reason to
believe she was married at the time she ran off
with my g.grandfather Wm. Kinnison. He had 6 child
ren by Mildred Milner, and Sallie Dixon had 4 children by John Dixon. It was told by the family
that she died, and her children went to live with
her M.& F. Charles & Nancy Waaser. Sallie's hus-
band, John Dixon married a second time to Nancy
Meeks, and they had children. If any decendents of
either wives knows whether this Sallie did die,
or if she ran off with my great grandfather Wm.Kinnison, pls let me know, you can contact me

ed for many years about this, and would love to
know. Not a pretty story of desertion, but it is
history, and would like to know the truth about
it. Sallie would have been b. in Yazoo, Co. about
1868/70. Charles Waaser was b.1831 d.1910, and
Nancy was b.1844 d. 1924. Thanks
