Deb, I have a "bunch" of info on Williamson, including burial place, wives(3), Children, etc., etc. In fact I was in the town of Burnsville, Tishomingo County, Mississippi less than a month ago making photos of cemeteries and tombstones. In 1988 I visited and spoke at length with a man named "Doc" Harris in that town and he possessed a wealth of knowledge on our pre 20th Century Harris'es. He took me to a place south of Burnsville where, according to family legend, Williamson and other kinfolk were buried. The Mississippi Highway Commission had some records reflecting relocation of several graves from a family cemetery in the early 1900's. According to "Doc" this was Williamson and his family. I have not been able to verify that it was in fact The Harris Family Plots, but did positively identify the positions through the Mississippi Department of Highways. My GGGrandfather was John Benjamin Harris and although I find he and Williamson are in several "trees" on-line and they were always one or two houses apart in census records going back to 1840 'til their death, I still can't definitively prove their kinship! However based on several census reports, family name repeats, ages, marriages and travels, I am mostly convinced that Williamson is the father of John B... making them my GGG and GG Grandfathers. Would be interested in your ideas or obversations. With very best regards, I am Aaron Harris in Guadalupe County, Texas. e9rontex@aol.com
