Missy, I am Gracie Mayfield Morlino of Carroll Co., MS. My Mayfields settled Cotton Gin Port, Monroe Co., c. 1817. My Brown line settled Lowndes Co., and I have a mystery LOWRANCE family that was from the general area, I believe! I know that Abile S. LOWRANCE was in McMinn Co., TN in the early 1800's. He m. Susannah Angeline Mayfield in Monore Co. 1841. Does any of this connect for you?
