I am trying to find out where and when my ggggrandmother died and buried.
On the 1860 census for Gentry Co.MO. she is Margarette Hughes age 70 born abt. 1790 Ireland - living with Wm or William Hughes and family . ( William married to Martha Freemyer ) They lived in TWP 66, Gentry Co. MO.
In the 1870 census the family were in Union , Worth Co, Mo. and NO Margarette Hughes.
She must have died between 1760-1870 either in Gentry Co. or Worth Co. Mo.
On William's death certificate ( he died in Delta, Colo. with Daughter Clara Hughes Stryker home.
William was born 1831 ireland and immigrated 1847 - was abt. 16 yrs. old .
Mother was listed as Margaret Pierson Hughes and father H. Hughes. H. Hughes died in Ireland or on ship.
I was told that when she came to America ; she was widowed.
I need help to find her grave in Mo. I have tried everywhere and can't find her.
