He ran a Post Office/General Store with Francis or Frank Campbell. Daniel and family were confederates. He was one of 11 children born to Howell J. Durham and Lucy Woodliff from Hall Co Ga. Daniel and family moved to Ozark Co MO in abt 1846 where they had two more children. Howell Durham Sr. died in 1849 at age 49. He is buried in Ozark Co MO probably. Lucy died in 1867 somewhere in Mo.
In 1870, Daniel or Frank Durham's real estate value was $12,000 and personal worth $4,000.
