Hi. I am looking for information on John E. Williams, son of John D. Williams, b. May 1861 in Danville, IL. He married Sarah Anna Margaret Clifford on April 6, 1882 in Roodhouse, Greene, IL. They had the following children in the order listed: Frederick, Mary Ebbert, Charles, Florence, Francis (female), and Sarah. About 1883, the family moved to Martinsburg Precinct, Audrain County, MO. In September of 1884, Charles Elden was born there, and in February of 1886, Florence Valretta was born there. By 1890, the family had moved to Alton, Madison, IL. John was a coal miner, then coal mine inspector, and I am sure he moved there for work, although my grandmother Florence used to visit "family" somewhere in MO until she was middle-aged. Any information on this family is greatly appreciated.
