I am looking for any information/relations for James Newton Holt Parents were John and Naomi Holt. I know that James had eight brothers and sisters. I know that he was the youngest boy and his siblings names are Brack, Barry, David, Isom, Jasper, Susie, Mary and Sarah. I also know that Brack, Barry Isom and David were in the army during the Civil War.

I know that James was married twice his first wife is unknown but I know that they had children one named Mary Ann born sometime before 1875. James later married Sarah Jehmima Phillips from Arkansas they had six children together: Ruth Naomi Norene Holt (m. Floyd Calhoun), Douglas Newton Holt (m. Dessie Williams), Ray Rex Holt (m. Maude ?), Icie Erma Gean Holt (m. Thomas Boydston), Katie Inza May Holt (m. Horace Williams) and Nola Geneva Holt (m. Henry Haywood "Woodie" Wimberley). All of these children were born in Arkansas. I know that James died 7/20/1912.
