I am researching my Danish-American line that lived in the Freeborn County, MN area from the mid 1800's to the present. I am looking for descendants of Carl or Jens Christensen Heegard who may also be researching the same line. Carl is my direct ancestor (great-great-grandfather), b. 8/24/1854, d. 8/20/1930, married Rebecca Hansen. Children were: Mary, Agnes (m. Chris Carlsen), Christene ("Stina" m. Charley Jorgenson), Hannah (m. Frank C. Nelson), Clara (m. Lars Swenson), and William (m. Ida Fredrickson), and Harvey (m. Agnes Jensen).
