Hi. I just joined today. I have over 3000 people in my database and much of it includes Maine ancestors. I grew up in Clifton, ME (30 miles east of Bangor).

I'm mostly interested in researching my Hodgins family right now. I have much information on the Graffams and Cummings on my father's side and I have some information on the Lewis and Pereau families on my mother's side.

I have been doing genealogy for about 6 years now and am fed up with Ancestry.Com. I'm unhappy about RootsWeb combining their information with Ancestry, etc. I am really impressed with this site. Phew!
