Am researching the Halls of Mason County, KY and later of Boone County, KY. My ggrandfather, Amos O. Hall was born in Maysville, KY in 1824 according to his Civil War Pension papers. His father was born in England but no name was mentioned. We have looked at the 1830 Census in Maysville and found only a Thomas Hall with a hash mark for a boy child the same age as Amos. However when we looked at the marriage license at the Court House in Maysville of Thomas Hall and Susannah Beall, the date is too late for some of the other children. I guess it could be a "yours, mine and ours" family. On the marriage license was the Pennell Beall or Beale who signed for Susannah Beale to marry. Any info would be greatly appreciated. David Hall
