I am of the Francis Ramsey family. My gr grandfather was Daniel James McCabe Ramsey son of Richard Ramsey b. abt 1816, son of Daniel F. Ramsey. Sons of Richard and unknown wife were Daniel J. M. Ramsey b. 1850 and John William Ramsey b. 1850 Garrard Co., KY.
I do not know for sure where Daniel J. M. Ramsey was b. and do not know who the wife of Richard was.
Henry O. Cable and wife Elizabeth were uncle and aunt of these boys. The boys were orphaned about the time of the civil war.
I would appreciate any help and info and will gladly share.
