I need help with my Kentucky Campbell family .My great grandfather , James Vermont Campbell was listed on the 1920 Fulton Co. , Ga. census where it is stated that his state of birth is Kentucky . It also states that his parents were born there also . James V. Campbell had an older brother named William that made it to Fulton co. , Ga. also and lived in Hapeville .
James would have been born c.1872 and somehow he and/or William were related to a Rosabelle Shelton who could have possibly come from Ky. too . I did find a Campbell family on the 1880 Casey Co. , Ky. census that had several
children including two sons , James and an older William . However , I am unable to determine if they are the family of James V. Campbell and his brother William .
