Anyone who has family in Pike County, I'd like to see if you may have tie ins to my Bishop's! Family of William E. Bishop Sr.- his children were:
Nancy Jane Bishop- married James D. Belcher
Riley Bishop- married Milly Abshire
Rhoda Ann Bishop- married Frederick Alexander Smiley
Pricey Bishop- mrrd William Hunt
Mariam Bishop- married Archibald Slone- (also James Layne)
Miles Bishop- married Nancy Jane Matney
Vina Bishop- married Andrew Jackson Abshire
David Bishop- died young- at about 1yr old
Milly Jane Bishop- married Leanard Belcher
William E. Bishop Jr.- married Emeritha Slone
Andrew Bishop- married Mary Thornsbury

William Sr. also had a child with July Ann Carter- the child's name was Mary Elizabeth Carter.
Mary Elizabeth married John Mutter, and John Ratcliff.

I am writing a book on this huge family- both descendants and ancestors. If anyone has any information, pictures, etc that they would like to contribute, or any corrections that may need to be done to the file I have posted here on him, please contact me.
