My great-grandfather's name was Jacob Pearson and lived in Simpson. He married Matilda Erickson. The family appears in the US Census thru 1930. There seems to be no death record of granddad. We do believe was institutionalized for bi-polar disorder. We do not know which place he was in. We wonder if he died while there and his death wasn't properly recorded. We have a note on the back of a photo that says he died in 1936, but that's all. Their daughtar, Esther, is my grandmother and she left the state for Oregon when she was a young woman and we haven't had contact with this branch of the family for eons. I wish so much to know where my great-granddad lies. I hope his remains aren't in a container on some shelf in an institution. This had happened in Oregon.
