Obituary appeared 12/29/1936 in Winchester, Indiana. Note that Enos Riley Hiatt was a passenger in a notable 1908 auto accident where the driver died - and he himself died in an auto accident. Doc Huddleston was a family friend who attended the Illinois birth of Enos' grandson about ten years prior to this fatal accident.

Dr. A.F. Huddleston, 74, a practicing physician of Winchester for the past 55 years, was instantly killled and Enos R. Hiatt, 75, of Winchester, for many years a photographer here, was fatally inured in a head-on collision of Dr. Huddleston's car with another automobile, near Forsyth, Georgia, Christmas day. The two men, who were widely known throughout Randolph county, were enroute to Florida to spend the winter. Mr. Hiatt died a few hours after the accident in a hospital at Macon, Georgia.
Dr. Huddleston has spent the winter in Florida for several years. This is thought to be the first time that Mr. Hiatt had accompanied him. They expected to visit Mr. Hiatt's son, DeLoe Hiatt at Orlando.
Dr. Huddleston was born in Union county, south of Liberty, May 8, 1859. His parents moved to Dublin in 1864 and he received his early education in Wayne county. He graduated from the Pulte medical College, Cincinnati, in 1881. He came to Winchester the same year and started the paractice of medicine, where he spent the rest of his life. His first office was on the south side of the public square. He later moved to East street in a home which is now the parsonage for the Friends church. From there he went to 119 East South street, where he has remained since that time. He was honored a few years ago when he completed his fiftieth year in the practice of medicine. He was an honorary member of the Wayne County Medical society. In 1882 he was married to laura Greeen of Dublin and she died October 24,, 1929.
He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Frank Oler, of Richmond, one son, Eric Huddleston, head of the architecture department of the University of New Hampshire, Durham, N.H., four grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Charles Hill of Orlando, Florida.
Mr. Hiatt was born and reared near Farmland and was a resident of Randolph county all his life. He was in the photographic business for many years and recently has been interested in several enterprises in Winchester. He was an active member of the Friends church and the Masonic lodge.
He is survived by two sons, DeLoe Hiatt of Orlando, Florida and Rea Hiatt of Chicago, Illinois, and a niece, Mrs. Will Lucas of this city.
The bodies were returned from Florida to the Fraze funeral home here Monday morning and were accompanied by DeLoe Hiatt, son of Mr. Hiatt and Russell Hill of Orlando, nephew of Dr. Huddleston.
Funeral services for Dr. Huddleston will be held at the Methodist church this Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock in charge of Rev. Thornburg. Burial will be made in the Dublin cemetery.
Funeral services for Mr. Hiatt will be held at the Friends church this Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock in charge of Rev. Charles Hiatt assisted by Rev. Aaron Napier. Burial will be made in the Fountain Park cemetery.
