Looking for any information on the parents of John B. Smith who married Susan Liggett who last appeared in the 1860 census of Fountain County, living in Cain Township. I'm trying my best to find out what the "B" stands for on John's name.
John and Susan had a son, my great granddad Abner who married first Mahala Washburn in Fountain County, then Nancy Jane Rutledge. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks,
