Grandfather William Gilbert Wilkerson b. 02 Feb 1860 in Terre Haute, Vigo County, Indiana. d. 22 Oct 1926 Baron, Adair County, Oklahoma. Married to Jessie Caroline Durkee (Durkey?) b. 23 July 1881 in Terre Haute, Vigo County, Indiana. d. 17 Oct. 1940 Baron, Adair County, Oklahoma. They had seven children; Edna May Wilkerson, William Allen Wilkerson, Pearl Wilkerson, Lillie Louise Wilkerson, Charlie Allen Wilkerson, Ethel Mildred Wilkerson and Martha Murrel Wilkerson.
