enlisted in 122nd Infantry Div., in Macoupin Co, IL., with 2 other Greenwalts. He is injured and disappears in 1863. becomes a deserter. What happened to him? Where did he go? Who are his parents in Illinois? Siblings? What are their names? Who are his cousins with him? Is he half indian? is his mother indian? who is his father?
if this is my Greenwalt, then he married Mary Green and has his first child in Illinois. eventually moving to MO. and died in Oklahoma.
