Hi. I am looking for information on John E. Williams, son of John D. Williams, born Mary 1861 in Danville, IL. In 1882, John E. married Sarah Clifford of Alton, IL. They had the following children in the order listed: Frederick, Mary Ebbert, Charles, Francis (female), and Sarah. Places they are documented living are Roodhouse, Greene, IL (1880-1883); Martinsburg Precinct, Audrain, MO (1884-1890); Alton, Madison, IL (1890-1898); Danville, Vermilion, IL (from 1899-1906); and Worden, Madison, IL (1907-1918). John was a coal miner, then coal mine inspector for the state of IL. He seems to disappear from all records about 1918. Any leads on this family are greatly appreciated.
