Am seeking descendants of the above surnames in Iowa. Charles Wesley Vaughan & his wife, Laura Young had a farm in Coon Rapids, Iowa. CW & Laura Vaughan were from Boone County, Illinois. Charles Wesley Vaughan was the son of William Hadley Vaughan and Elizabeth R. Bunker. Wm. Hadley Vaughan was born in Vermont and Elizabeth R. Bunker was born in 1812 in Cayuga County, NY.
They married there in 1828. The family moved to Boone Co., IL where 7 of their 9 children were born. Children of C.W. Vaughan & Laura Young were:
Fred, Adelbert (Delbert), Ledyard & Claude.
Delbert Vaughan married Effie Schneider in Iowa.
Fred moved to Kansas. Ledyard left a granddaughter, Fannie May Vaughan who lived in Sidney, NY. Claude died in 1912 and left a son, LaVerne Vaughan/Vaughn who lived in Antigo, Wisconsin in 1941.
