all i know is his fathers full name--mothers first name--they were married in hawaii around the years of 1938 to 1946(estimate).he should be around 66 to 77 years of age. his mothers name is melvina--fathers:james luther cothran sr.(passed away new years day 1992)father lived in washington,ga. He was in the army at bootcamp in fort dix,n.j. at age 17(1938).His father was a police officer in augusta,ga. This brother from what i've been told would be bi-racial(black&white) (or) (black & hawaiian). My father loved Melvinas' long black hair,he always spoke of her and said i once knew a girl whom i thought was hawaiian,she invited me to her families home for dinner.When we entered her home for me to meet her parents i was shocked! they were black people or they looked to be black missed with another race-maybe hawaiian. So my father and melvina divorced sometime with-in 1938-1944.My oldest sister told me she seen the marriage papers and the divorce papers where my Father was once married to a melvina.Now that my father has passed we haven't been able to find any info on our brother that he had with this lady(melvina).I would love to find him and his family that he knows,so he can at least know he has 5 half sisters and 1 half brother with our Father(james luther cothran sr.) This weighs heavy on my mind a whole lot! I wish I could find him so I can let him know he's loved by us also,even though we've never met.I hope and pray he's still alive and wants to get to know us also.Why,our Father never told us I don't know!
