I happened to run across this posting. My great great grandfather's last name is Weed. I can't remember his first name John? Charles? My great grandmother's name was Estella Kaowi Weed-Anana. Weed circle in Waialua is named after my family. When we had our big family reunion in Haleiwa almost 10 years ago, it was the Mahu-Weed Ohana reunion.
My grandmother's name was Luisa Kaiakawakawaakaahumanu Anana (Estella's daughter). Are you in contact with any of the family? I am wondering how we are related.
